My journy from Zero to Hero Digital Markter

It all begins last year; I start my blog last June, I remember to be so excited about my blog and work hard on it. 

I love writing and I want to communicate with readers. it was business for me too, but although I write good and informative articles. I didn`t have much traffic or engagement on my blog.

it was very disappointing to put in so much effort and work without getting any result from it. 

so many questions start to pump up in my head like "why my blog post didn`t go viral?" or "what makes other bloggers have more traffic than me?" and " is blogging is all about writing only or I need another thing to make my blog popular?" more and more questions.

I was confused until one day I saw on Facebook an advertisement about this initiative Egypt “Future Work is Digital" initiative that presents a Nano degree program on digital marketing presented on Udacity, sponsored by itida. Then I saw an opportunity and the salvation of my problem. And I told myself, this is it. that is the solution that I need.

So, I submitted my application and within 2 weeks. I got the scholarship at the digital marketing professional track.

I was so excited to start my journey especially since this course is designed to implement what you learned and that was very helpful. I can see where was my mistakes and be able to fix them.

By this time, I became able to get more views on my blog and get more engaging comments on my blog posts. 

Whenever I get a stack at any point or have a question, they help me to solve the problem.

One more thing that I found so helpful that they give you a part of the course About freelancing and how to use your new skills to earn projects or gigs from various freelancing platforms. And there are quite many of them. It was very helpful.

So, I learn through my journey on Udacity not only the experience of how to get my blog viral but also how to be a freelancer. as a freelancer, I was able to quit my daytime work and work only on my blog and be a freelancer digital marketer. And that makes me have an additional income.

It has been a great opportunity for me and makes me a very good digital marketer. So thank you Udacity and thank you Egypt fwd.
